The Port of Figueira da Foz is resuming operations, in collaboration with the entire port community. This resumption has been made possible thanks to the joint efforts of port operators, shipping agents and other relevant bodies, enabling the effective coordination of ship arrivals and departures, cargo handling and the management of ongoing construction works.
Just yesterday, the port recorded the simultaneous presence of five ships at berth, a clear sign of the dynamism and gradual recovery of activity.
Despite the challenges associated with the ongoing works to improve maritime access, it has been possible to ensure the resumption of operations, as evidenced by the activity at the quays and careful management of operations. This balance reflects not only the port’s technical capacity but also the spirit of collaboration among all stakeholders.
This return to normality is based, above all, on ongoing dialogue between the various parties, which has enabled solutions tailored to the needs of the port and its users to be found, ensuring efficiency, safety and the continuity of operations.
