The privacy policy applies to all personal and sensitive data processed at APFF, SA, which the company has access to through a user’s request, exposure, spontaneous application, communication, complaint or grievance, by any means available for the purpose: website, paper, telephone, fax or email.

APFF, SA, is a public limited liability company created by Law-Decree No 210/2008 of 3rd November, which exercises the necessary legal powers of port administration to ensure economic exploration and financial, asset and human resource management of the Port of Figueira da Foz.
APFF, SA, guarantees the management of port lands and expansion areas, the navigation channels, bed and margins of the Public Maritime Domain in its area of jurisdiction, as well as the regular operation of the Port of Figueira da Foz in close cooperation with the port community and other public and private entities which play a role in it, provide or use port exploration services and activities which are complementary, subsidiary or accessory to it.
We collect personal data according to the context of your interaction with APFF, SA, which may include, among others, data relating to identification (name, date of birth, marital status, number and validity citizen card, TIN, social security number), health and physical condition (health status, physical fitness and sick leave), contacts (address, phone/mobile number, institutional or personal email address), image (security cameras, videos and photos) and financial/payment data (IBAN, income).
We collect only the email address provided by the User when filling out the form requesting to receive our newsletter.
The processing of your personal data is carried out within the scope(s) for which it was collected or for objective(s) compatible with the initial purpose(s).
APFF, SA does not disclose or share your personal data for commercial, advertising or marketing purposes.

Your data will be saved for the necessary and reasonable period for the objective(s) for which APFF, SA collected it or until consent is withdrawn. The retention period for spontaneous applications is 5 years. The retention periods can be changed, when purposes of public interest or historical, scientific or statistical reasons justify their archiving. In these cases, APFF, SA will adopt the relevant retention and safety measures.
APFF, SA allows, at your request, access, rectification, processing limitation and even the erasure of personal data. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.
If the use of your personal data is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw it, without compromising the validity of the data processing carried out until that moment.
You can also access your data, as well as find out who has access to your data, how your data is processed, what your data is used for, order your data in a portable format and exercise the right of erasure, requesting that the data be deleted by sending an email to epd@portodeaveiro.pt.
