Port of Figueira da Foz grew 20% till July 2022, handling a total of 1,316,161 tons.
Compared to July of the previous year, 26.5% more tons of cargo were handled, with Solid Bulk, with an increase of 61.4%, being the type of cargo that contributed most to this performance.
Containerized cargo is in a phase of recovery, having registered a growth of 7.1%.
Noteworthy are the exports that continue to grow, with an increase of 11.6% compared to the same period last year.
The number of ships that called at the port also increased by 21.1%, also registering a growth of 17.5% in GT.
