The Port of Figueira da Foz today welcomed the cruise ship "Hebridean Sky" with 101 passengers on board, most of them British, and 72 crew members. The ship departed from Leixões on its way to Lisbon.
This is the third cruise ship to call at the Port of Figueira da Foz in 2023, demonstrating the growing interest in the region from tour operators in this niche market looking for alternative destinations to the major tourist centres.
If the call of the "Island Sky", announced for next month, takes place, this will be Figueira da Foz's best year ever for cruise ship calls.
