The kick-off meeting of the Study for the Development and Improvement of the Atlantic Marina of Figueira da Foz was held this Wednesday in Figueira da Foz and was attended by members of the APFF Board and staff, the City Council of Figueira da Foz and consultants from TISPT - Consultores em Transportes, Inovação e Sistemas, S.A., the company that won the public tender launched last September.
The completion of this study will enable the APFF Board of Directors to decide on the feasibility of granting a concession for the existing marina, its possible expansion and the construction of an area to receive cruise ships, as a strategy to strengthen the competitive position of the Port of Figueira da Foz in the recreational boating and coastal cruise business.
The maximum time limit for carrying out this study is 130 days and the contract value is 45,000.01 euros.
