On 24th January, the Casa do Paço in Figueira da Foz hosted the presentation of the historical-documentary book 'O Porto e a Barra da Figueira da Foz' by Rui Cascão and Marco Penajoia. The book, which recounts the evolution of the city's port and its relationship with the economic, social and cultural development of the region, represents an important milestone in the preservation of Figueira da Foz's collective memory.
Coordinated by José Augusto Bernardes, who led the presentation alongside the authors, the book reflects the centrality of the Port of Figueira da Foz in the growth of the city and its integration into regional and national dynamics. The ceremony was also attended by Eduardo Feio, President of the Board of Directors of the Port of Figueira da Foz, Gonçalo Vieira, President of the Figueira da Foz Port Community and Pedro Santana Lopes, Mayor of Figueira da Foz.
