This morning, the Port of Figueira da Foz welcomed the Hebridean Sky cruise ship, over 90 metres in length and flying the Bahamian flag. Arriving from the Port of Leixões, the vessel carried 98 passengers, mostly British, and 73 crew members, departing later in the day for Lisbon.
During the stopover, several passengers highlighted the port’s proximity to the city center, its peaceful surroundings, and the local climate.
The reception of the Hebridean Sky demonstrates the Port of Figueira da Foz’s capacity to accommodate small- and medium-sized cruise ships, contributing to the region’s tourism promotion and integrating the city into international maritime tourism itineraries.
This is not the first visit of the Hebridean Sky to Figueira da Foz; the cruise ship also called at the port in 2022 and 2023.
