As part of its anniversary celebrations, the Port of Figueira da Foz will once again open its doors to the public with a guided tour of its operational areas. The initiative aims to bring the port closer to the community and provide a firsthand understanding of the importance of this infrastructure for the regional and national economy.
The visit will take place on October 26, starting at 11:00 a.m., from the headquarters of the Port of Figueira da Foz Administration on Avenida de Espanha, where the tour will also conclude. The itinerary will include a free bus, allowing participants to safely explore different areas of the port with technical guidance provided by the Port of Figueira da Foz.
During the visit, participants will also have the opportunity to learn about the maritime access improvement works, a strategic investment that enhances the safety and competitiveness of the port, allows access for larger vessels, and promotes more sustainable port operations.
Participation is free but requires mandatory registration by 11:59 p.m. on October 23. Registrations can be completed through an online form on the Port of Figueira da Foz website.
