Porto da Figueira da Foz is taking part in Porto Maritime Week (PMW) 2026, organised by Transportes e Negócios, which is taking place until Friday, 25 September, at the Port of Leixões.

Teresa Cardoso, Chair of the Boards of Directors of Porto da Figueira da Foz and the Porto de Aveiro, highlighted the importance of ensuring that the planned investments are completed by 2035, particularly in the areas of intermodality, improved maritime access, decarbonisation and digitalisation.

She also stressed the importance of strengthening the relationship between ports and the communities around them, raising awareness of the role these infrastructures play in the economic and social development of their regions.

Porto Maritime Week brings together key stakeholders from the maritime and port sector to discuss the trends, challenges and opportunities shaping the industry, providing a forum for knowledge sharing, debate and networking.
