In January 2021, the Port of Figueira da Foz grew about 2.5% in the export of goods, with contributions from the containerised cargo segment, which grew 22% compared to the same period in the previous year, with a total of 913 TEU's, and from chemical products, which grew 47%.

The Port of Figueira handled 147,649 tonnes, 77% of which were for export.
